This is a project is still in its early stages (the design phase at the moment), so there isn't a huge amount to see other than the concept sketch on the right. I enjoy playing cricket at an amateur level, however I've found that very often score-books are either poorly kept or don't add up (very often both) and since cricket is a fairly logical game I thought I could write software to keep a track of everything.

The basic idea is that at a game someone would have a laptop (internet connected or not it doesn't matter) and would keep the score by clicking a button or two for each ball. The game information would then be updated from that input and live statical analysis of the game could be presented (there is no one quite like cricketers for their statistics). The system would use a modular 'micro-kernal' type approach where by if one module was updated it would tell the micro-kernal which would then in turn tell other registered modules about the update and they if needed would then updated themselves.

There is a lot of potential for expansion in this project including live scores and statistics on the web and even control of an electronic score-boards. I'd be interested to hear what people think about this project. Please get in touch if you have any ideas or suggestions.
